The high-profile area benefits from vibrant research cooperation in many joint projects. In addition, two overarching, shared research interests have emerged in particular: the question of equity and health and digitalization in healthcare. The latter has established itself as a field of research in Bremen in recent years under the name "Digital Public Health".
