Pillar 3: Activities, Participation and Networking

Doctoral researchers are encouraged to engage not only in activities directly related to their dissertation, but also in broader academic and non-academic professional experiences. The selection and emphasis of these activities are guided by the doctoral researcher’s individual goals and desired professional profile, allowing for considerable flexibility. Furthermore, the doctoral program offers numerous opportunities to build networks and gain insights into the work of others. Through networking with colleagues working on different projects, doctoral researchers can broaden their perspectives, discover collaborative opportunities, and learn from each other.
